Donald Trump Threatens Iran with "Economic D-Day"
Donald Trump laments that Iran has not taken the chance to make a deal with the US and now warns in an angry post on Truth Social that "economic warfare of an unprecedented scale" awaits the country.
He writes that "enormous" consequences await any country that gives Iran any kind of economic lifeline. He predicts that Iran's economy will collapse and that the country will be completely isolated. He also makes an analogy with the Allied invasion of Normandy in northern France during World War II.
"This will be an economic D-Day, and we need all of our allies to stand with the US to isolate and defeat the threat from Iran. These lunatics are pushed to the breaking point, and these historic actions will cripple them and their ability to spread terror around the world."
