At least six reported dead in Gaza City

At least six people have been killed in an Israeli attack on the port of Gaza City, according to Gaza health authorities.

Among the dead is a child, the Hamas-controlled authority said. Another ten were injured in the attack on a tent camp for refugees.

Al-Shifa Hospital reported that it received five dead and 13 wounded, one of whom later died.

The Israeli military said it had attacked a target on the coast to hit several Hamas commanders in a “precise airstrike to eliminate the threat.”
