Iran War
The ceasefire is over – Trump and Iran threaten each other again
Donald Trump does not want to extend the ceasefire with Iran that was signed in June, he tells reporters at the White House. According to Bloomberg, to a direct question from a reporter, he simply replied:
– No.
A more permanent peace between the two countries would be negotiated during the 60-day ceasefire that expired today.
In an interview with Republican Fox News, Trump threatens to continue his military and economic pressure on Iran if the country does not “raise the white flag and surrender,” according to TT.
He also reiterates his idea of making the Strait of Hormuz American territory.
Iran has threatened to escalate to more offensive warfare on Monday, according to Reuters.
