Russia warns Britain: “Consequences”
Russia claims that Britain will have to pay a “price” and see “consequences” after media reports that British drones were used by Ukraine in attacks on Russian territory.
“London’s actions will inevitably have consequences for which it will be held accountable,” writes the Russian Embassy in the UK.
The statement comes after The Sunday Times newspaper reported that drones from British companies were used by Ukraine to strike targets in Russia.
Russia has repeatedly issued warnings and threats against countries that have supported Ukraine in various ways during the years that the Russian offensive war was ongoing.
Ukraine has escalated its long-range attacks on targets in Russia in recent months. At the same time, Moscow has intensified its missile and drone attacks against, among other things, the Ukrainian capital Kiev.
