“Russian Starlink” is being built faster than expected: “Can soon attack anywhere”

A Russian alternative to the American Starlink may be much closer than previously thought, and that could be a very big problem for Ukraine. This is reported by Politico.

Ukraine today estimates that Russia has launched about 40 satellites connected to the Rassvets network. Before 2027 is over, that number is expected to be almost 300, according to the Ukrainian news agency RBC.

When the system is complete, it will mean completely new conditions for Russian drone warfare, Volodymyr Zelenskyj’s advisor Serhii Beskrestnov told Politico.
