ช่วงสองสามเดือนที่ผ่านมา ผมได้รับอีเมลก่อกวนทุกวันนับเป็นร้อยๆฉบับ จากใครบางคนที่ต้องการให้ผมปล่อยบรรดารูปภาพติดเรทของเจ้าคุณพระก้อย สินีนาฎ ที่ผมได้รับมาจากบุคคลนิรนามเมื่อสิงหาคมปีที่แล้ว 1/5

 

ตอนแรกนั้นบุคคลคนนี้อีเมลเข้ามาขอรูปเหล่านั้นจากผม และเมื่อผมปฏิเสธไป เขาก็เริ่มปฏิบัติการระดมส่งอีเมลเข้ามาก่อกวนผมทุกวัน ผมได้ทำการบล็อกให้มันไปลงถังขยะ แต่เค้าก็ยังคงใช้เวลาวันละหลายหลายชั่วโมงในการส่งข้อความเหล่านี้เข้ามา 2/5

มันก็ไม่ใช่เรื่องลำบากใหญ่โตอะไร แต่มันไม่จบสักที ผมสามารถที่จะเปิดเผยอีเมลแอดเดรสของผู้ส่งได้ เพื่อให้ทางการไทยสืบหาได้ แต่ผมจะไม่ทำอย่างนั้นเพราะผมไม่ยอมรับให้มีการใช้กฏหมายหมิ่นกับใครๆก็ตาม 3/5

ผมไม่รู้นะ เป็นไปได้ว่าบุคคลนี้อาจจะป่วยทางจิต จริงๆงานของผมก็ทำให้ผมโดนก่อกวนและข่มขู่ตลอดมา แต่คนคนนี้ดูจะไม่รามือง่ายๆ ดื้อด้าน สติเฟื่อง และผมบอกตรงๆว่ามันน่ารำคาญแล้วก็น่ากังวล 4/5

อย่างที่ผมเคยพูด ขอบอกไว้ก่อนว่า ผมจะไม่มีวันเปิดเผยรูปภาพเหล่านั้นของก้อย ซึ่งมันจะเป็นการละเมิดสิทธิส่วนบุคคลโดยที่ไม่ได้มีประโยชน์สาธารณะอะไรเลย และผมจะไม่ยอม ละเมิดจรรยาบรรณของสื่อสารมวลชน หรือละเมิดสามัญสำนึกพื้นๆ เพียงเพื่อจะทำลายภาพลักษณ์ของเจ้าไทย 5/5   

For the past couple of months, I've been receiving literally hundreds of abusive emails every day from somebody who wants me to send them the explicit photographs of royal consort Sineenat "Koi" Wongvajirabhakdi that were sent to me anonymously last August. 1/6

 

This person initially e-mailed me to ask me for the photos and when I declined they began a campaign of spamming me with daily abuse. I have blocked them so all their messages go into my junk folder, but they seem to be spending hours each day sending these messages. 2/6

I get hundreds, sometimes thousands of emails a day, and several a minute, during Thai waking hours. I think they are being sent manually rather than via automation because they stop during the Thai night and resume during the Thai day. 3/6 

It's not a big inconvenience but it's unsettling. I could solve the problem by publishing their email address so the Thai authorities can track them down, but I'm not going to do that because I don't believe in using the lese majeste and computer crimes laws against anyone. 4/6

It's possible that this person is mentally ill. I don't know. Obviously I get constant abuse and threats because of my work but this person has been relentlessly persistent and prolific and frankly it's quite disturbing and worrying. 5/6 

For the record, as I've said before, I will never share the images of Koi because that would be an invasion of privacy with no justification in terms of public interest, and I'm not going to violate journalistic ethics and basic decency just to damage the Thai royals. 6/6
