At least eleven dead in Spanish nightclub fire
At least eleven people have died after a fire broke out in a nightclub in Murcia, Spain. This is reported by the Spanish media.
El País writes that the emergency services make the assessment that the death toll may rise further. Four people are said to have been injured.

The regional president Fernando López Miras has announced a three-day period of mourning after this morning's big fire at a night club in Murcia, reports El País.
So far, eleven people have been confirmed dead, but several people are still missing. Jairo is the father of one of them. He tells Spain's El Mundo that his 28-year-old daughter traveled from her hometown of Caravaca de la Cruz to Murcia with her friends to party. At 6 a.m. she sent a voice message to her mother.
"Mom I love you. We will die,” the message read.
Screams were heard in the background.
The fire started for an unknown reason at 06:00 and was completely extinguished only two hours later. The emergency services fear that the death toll will rise.
