Trump: If I'm elected, Jerome Powell has done his part
If Donald Trump is re-elected, he will not give Fed Chair Jerome Powell renewed confidence. This is what the former president says in an interview with the TV channel Fox Business, according to Bloomberg.
- No, I wouldn't. I think he will do something to help the Democrats, if he lowers interest rates, says Trump.
The Republican challenger also takes credit for the recent record high on Wall Street.
- It's because they think I will be elected.

Claiming to be father of bitcoin – court rules
Satoshi Nakamoto, the enigmatic creator of bitcoin, disappeared without a trace in 2008. Since 2016, inventor Craig Wright has claimed to be him, and a British court will now test this claim, Wired writes in a report.
"The stakes are very high," said a representative of the Bitcoin Legal Defense Fund, a non-profit organization that helps bitcoin developers defend themselves against legal action.
The Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) believes that Wright is inhibiting the development of the cryptocurrency by scaring away developers and wants to establish that he does not own the rights to the white paper. But in fact, COPA is asking the court to determine that Wright is not Nakamoto, according to the tech magazine.
On February 5, the trial starts in the UK's Supreme Court.

Meta's future
Zuckerberg kicks Gates after Meta's price surge
Meta's price surge on Friday causes Mark Zuckerberg's fortune to increase sharply. According to Bloomberg, the lift of 20 percent means an addition to the wallet of 27.1 billion dollars, corresponding to roughly 280 billion kroner.
That brings his fortune to $169.5 billion. It also means that he knocks down Bill Gates and takes over the place as the world's fourth richest person. Zuckerberg's fortune has never been greater.
He will be able to take part in a dividend per year of 700 million dollars.
