The election in the United States The electoral movement
Trump works at McDonalds - becomes political battleground

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have turned the fast food restaurant McDonald's into a political battleground in the final weeks of the presidential campaign, reports CNN.

Today, Trump visited one of the chain's restaurants in Pennsylvania, where he got to try, among other things, pouring fries and greeting customers who shopped via the drive-through.

- It will be the best you've ever tasted, I made it myself, Donald Trump says to a customer taking an order.

Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and her campaign have long made points of the fact that she previously worked at McDonalds, while Donald Trump was "born with a silver spoon in his mouth."

- Can you imagine Trump working at McDonalds? He wouldn't even be able to turn on the McFlurry machine, Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz said earlier this year, according to CNN.
