King Vajiralongkorn has promoted another old man, Nurak Marpraneet, to the Privy Council. 1/3Nurak is a royalist judge who was on the Constitutional Court when it dissolved the elected People's Power Party in December 2008 and ordered Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to stand down in May 2014, a couple of weeks before the military seized power in a coup. 2/3He was president of the Constitutional Court when it dissolved the Future Forward Party in February. He retired in March.
Now he is getting his reward for all his work undermining democracy on behalf of the palace. 3/3
