William congratulates Harry – breaking two years of silence

Prince William wishes his little brother Harry a happy 40th birthday at X - breaking two years of public silence between the brothers, according to British media.

“Happy 40th birthday to the Duke of Sussex!” write William and his wife Catherine on X, republishing a post where the royal family's account sends their congratulations.

It is the first time since 2021 that the royal family congratulates Harry on his birthday. The ties between Harry and the rest of the family have been very frosty since he and wife Meghan Markle cut the ribbon to the royal family and moved to California in 2020.

Queen Elizabeth statue baffles: 'Mrs Doubtfire'

Queen Elizabeth II is one of the most photographed people in history. Nevertheless, a new statue of the dead queen has succeeded so well in depicting her, several media write.

The bronze statue, placed next to a statue of Prince Philip in a park in Northern Ireland, depicts Elizabeth II wearing a headscarf, skirt and quilted waistcoat, with two of her corgis at her feet. On the internet, people think the statue is more reminiscent of Robin Williams' character Mrs Doubtfire from the 90s film of the same name, and according to British art historian Richard Morris, it is objectively difficult to see that the statue represents the Queen.

- I had no idea who it was until I saw the caption below. I thought, 'Oh my God, what a bad representation,'” Morris told CBS News.

The new space race
Billionaire back on earth after historic mission

The Polaris Dawn space probe is back on Earth after the historic mission to conduct the first commercial spacewalk. Space X space capsule landed in the ocean off the coast of Florida.

Among others on board was tech billionaire Jared Isaacman, who became the first non-professional to complete a spacewalk. He also became the 264th person to do so since the first spacewalk was carried out by the Soviet Union in 1965.

The crew, which consisted of a total of four people, was in space for five days.

Train crash in northern Egypt – three people dead

Three people have died after two trains collided with each other in northern Egypt on Saturday, reports AFP and refers to state media. Two of the victims are children, according to the Department of Health.

Another 49 people were injured in the accident that occurred in the town of Zagazig, roughly eight miles north of Cairo. The crash is believed to be due to "human error", but the incident must be investigated, according to the country's transport minister.

The railway system in Egypt is lagging and several fatal train accidents have occurred in recent years, writes the news agency.
