NATO chief: I'm not worried about Trump and Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is not worried about how an election win for Donald Trump would affect the war in Ukraine, he says, according to Politico. The new leader of the alliance says he knows Trump well.

- He agrees with me that this fight is not only about Ukraine, it is also about the security and the future security of the United States.

Rutte says he is "completely convinced" that the US supports Ukraine because the country is aware that a win for Putin has a negative impact on the US. Trump has promised a solution to the war but stopped short of saying he wants to see a Ukrainian victory.

The criminologist: Inexperienced criminals make it easy for the police

Inexperienced perpetrators make it easy for the police to arrest suspects. This is what criminologist Manne Gerell tells Ekot after a boy in his early teens was arrested in connection with a shooting at the Israeli defense company Elbit Systems' facility in Gothenburg earlier today.

According to Gerell, today's event is part of an overall trend where the perpetrators of shootings and explosions are getting younger and younger.

- Then you can imagine that the perpetrators are less experienced and make more mistakes and are therefore easier for the police to catch, says Gerell, who also notes that the criminal networks probably don't care so much if their young, inexperienced members are caught.
