The Middle East crisis Israel-Iran

Iran's threat to oil countries: You must not help Israel

Iran has issued threats to Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, warning them not to cede airspace or territory to Israel or the United States in the event of an attack on Iran. The Wall Street Journal reports with reference to sources.

According to the information, the countries have in turn contacted the United States and announced that they do not intend to assist in such a retaliatory attack. The countries are said to be worried that their oil facilities could become a target in the future.

The message conveyed to the White House must have been that military facilities and airspace may be used by the United States for self-defense purposes, but not offensively.

The meeting of Israel's security cabinet on Thursday evening did not lead to any "major decisions" on how the country will respond to last week's Iranian drone strike, according to information provided by the Times of Israel.

- There is an Israeli desire to coordinate with the Americans.

An Israeli source tells Axios that the plan that Israel is said to have proposed to the US was perceived as "a bit too aggressive". However, during a conversation this week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden approached a consensus.
