In a re-run election in Chiang Mai after the previously victorious Pheu
Thai candidate was disqualified, the pro-democracy Future Forward Party
won a massive victory, with 75,891 votes. The junta's Palang Pracharat
Party was far behind in third place with 27,861.

The Democrat Party fared even worse, in 6th place with just 1,738 votes.
But even though it was clear that voters were overwhelmingly rejecting
the junta party and discredited Democrat Party, both parties will get an
additional party list seat from the Chiang Mai election. 3/4
Most staggeringly of all, the Democrat Party gets an extra seat which
will go to the notorious Chitpas "Tant" Kridakorn, the Singha Beer
heiress who helped Suthep Thaugsuban's PDRC conspire with the army to
undermine Thai democracy in 2013/4 #AmazingThailand 4/4
