Ukraine: Shipwrecked by the Black Sea Fleet
A ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was destroyed in this morning's attack on the naval base in Novorossiysk in southern Russia. That according to Ukrainian intelligence, writes The Guardian.
The newspaper has obtained an unverified clip that purports to show a ship leaning heavily to one side at the base in Novorossiysk. Sources told Reuters that the attack was carried out by Ukrainian maritime drones operating on or below the surface of the water. An intelligence source told CNN that the two drones were loaded with 450 kilograms of explosives.
The information comes after Russia claimed during the morning that it had repelled several Ukrainian attacks against a naval base in the Black Sea and against the Russian-annexed Crimean Peninsula.

UK: Russia more likely to take risks
In recent weeks, Russia has carried out repeated drone attacks against Ukrainian ports along the Danube River, the British Ministry of Defense writes in its daily update on X, formerly Twitter. The attacks are interpreted as an attempt to stop international trade at the ports.
In connection with attacks, drones are said to have hit targets just 200 meters from the border with Romania. The British interpret it as Russia becoming more inclined to take risks and carry out attacks near NATO territory.
Earlier this week, 40,000 tons of grain were destroyed in an attack on Izmail, Ukraine's largest inland port.
