BREAKING: Thai Liberal Party leader Pol Gen Sererpisuth Temeeyaves said on Wednesday he resigns not because he was sulky that his one-MP party, or he himself, didn't get a Cabinet portfolio despite being part of the Pheu Thai-led coalition.
Without naming names, Seri criticized the Srettha Thavisin Cabinet for including a former drug smuggling convict, a person expelled from civil service as Cabinet members and called Srettha "a puppet".
Seri said his resignation, effective Aug 23, was to pave way for his party member to become MP.
