British politician rages against the lawsuit: "Outrageous"

The leader of the Liberal Democrats in the UK, Ed Davey, urges Prime Minister Keir Starmer to support the BBC after Donald Trump's billion-dollar lawsuit against the company. This is reported by the British media.

Davey thinks that Starmer should tell Trump that the lawsuit is "unacceptable".

- Starmer must stand up for the BBC against Trump's scandalous legal threats and protect licensees from being financially affected, he says.

The BBC states that they will defend themselves against Trump's lawsuit regarding the editing of Trump's speech on January 6, 2021. The public service company has previously apologized for the editing.
