Iran has submitted a new negotiation proposal to the US via the mediator Pakistan, according to Iranian media.

Donald Trump dismisses the proposal.

- I am not satisfied with what they are offering, the US president tells reporters.

The proposal from Tehran was submitted on Thursday evening, according to Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency.

The content has not been made public.

In an earlier statement, White House deputy press secretary Anna Kelly said of Iran’s proposal that Trump “has been clear that Iran will never have access to nuclear weapons,” adding that “negotiations continue to ensure that U.S. national security is maintained in the short and long term.”
