Trump: Will review new peace proposal from Iran

US President Donald Trump says he has received a new Iranian proposal to end the war in the country – but that he will probably not accept it.

"I will soon review the proposal that Iran just sent us, but I cannot imagine that it will be acceptable because they have not yet paid a high enough price for what they have done to humanity and the world over the past 24 years," he writes on Truth Social.

The move comes after Trump as recently as earlier this week rejected another peace proposal from Iran.

Semi-state Iranian media, believed to be close to the country's Revolutionary Guard, have reported that Iran has sent a 14-point peace proposal to the mediator Pakistan.
