Five million Japanese are evacuated from the typhoon
Over five million residents of southern Japan have been ordered to evacuate their homes amid the ongoing typhoon Shanshan, the country's strongest in decades. The BBC reports.
Shanshan has brought heavy downpours and wind gusts of 70 meters per second. At least four people have died and at least 85 have been injured. The typhoon has caused landslides and 237,000 households without electricity.
