The new election in France
National assembly threatens vote of confidence

Meetings between French President Emmanuel Macron and the country's various party leaders continue on Monday in an attempt to appoint a new prime minister. After his meeting with the president, the far-right National Assembly announced it would support a vote of no confidence if a candidate from the leftist New People's Front alliance is named prime minister, French public service news site France Info reports.

- The unnatural agreements and alliances made between the former presidential majority and the New People's Front during the period between the two election rounds have given the extreme left a position of power, National Assembly leader Jordan Bardella told journalists after the meeting.

- We have informed that we were of course in favor of a vote of no confidence against a likely government consisting of the New People's Front.

So far, it is unclear when Emmanuel Macron will choose a new prime minister.

The North Korea crisis
North Korea's new drones resemble those of Israel and Russia

North Korea has developed a new suicide drone, writes state media according to AFP. The news was released as the country's dictator Kim Jong-Un oversaw a test of the weapon.

Suicide drones, or patrol robots, are airborne weapon systems with built-in warheads designed to patrol until a target is detected and then attack.

Experts tell AFP that the drones are similar to Israel's "HAROP" and "HERO 30" as well as Russia's "Lancet-3". They believe that North Korea may have received the technology from Russia, which in turn took it from Iran, which is suspected of having received the information from Israel through hacker attacks.

The violence in Pakistan
ID cards were checked – everyone from Punjab was executed

At least 39 people have been forced out of cars and buses and killed on a highway in Baluchistan, Pakistan. The separatist group Baluchistan Liberation Army (BLA) checked the people's IDs and killed those who came from Punjab, a local politician told AFP.

Between 30 and 40 people from the militant organization are said to have stopped over 20 cars. The BLA claims that the people killed were military personnel traveling in civilian clothes, writes Reuters. But Pakistan's interior ministry says those executed were civilians.

President Asif Ali Zardari calls the attacks "barbaric".

The conflict has been going on for decades. In short, the separatists want Baluchistan, which has the most natural resources in the country but is still the least developed, to be freed from the rest of Pakistan.
