There should not be any delays in air traffic at the moment, according to the Civil Aviation Authority.
- I have no information on whether it will be one or more drones, says Eric Casselberg.
The police are investigating
Daniel Wikdahl at the Stockholm police says that they have received information "about a sighting", but does not want to go into whether it is a drone.- But it is far too early to say what it is. We are working on trying to investigate it. But everything at the airport, take-off and landing, continues as usual.
The airport company Swedavia has also received information about suspicious drone activity near the airport. But it should have no impact on air traffic.
More alarms during the evening
The armed forces tell Aftonbladet that the case with the drones is currently a police matter. The security police are informed about the matter but also refer to the police.
Later in the evening, more alarms about drones should have come in, from other places in Stockholm County.
The police are also in these other places.
- I can confirm that we have a number of observations, but I cannot comment on where, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson for the police in the Stockholm region.
