One person dead and several injured in knife attack in South Korea
At least one person has died and 13 people have been injured, several seriously, in a stabbing attack at a shopping mall in Seongnam, south of Seoul, according to South Korean police. That's what the Korea Herald writes. According to testimonies on social media, people have seen a car drive up onto a sidewalk full of people. Two men allegedly jumped out of the car and ran towards the shopping centre. Nine people are said to have been stabbed, while four others were injured when they were hit.
"At first I thought it was a game of hide and seek with some of the scouts," writes a person quoted by JoonAng Daily on X, formerly Twitter. A large scout meeting with tens of thousands of participants is taking place right now.
It is not yet known how badly injured the victims are. According to Reuters, one man has been arrested and police are looking for another man.

The debate about children's screen time
China wants to limit screen time for young people to two hours
China wants to limit children and young people's screen time to a maximum of two hours per day, according to CNN. The reason is to try to limit young people's internet addiction but also to educate young people to have "good morals" and "socialist values".
If the proposal goes through, it would mean that all mobile phones would have to build in a "user mode for minors" which means that it would not be possible to use the phone any more after two hours.
No one under the age of 18 would then be able to use their mobile phone after 10 pm and until 6 am in the morning with the user mode.
