The change of power in Thailand
Political stalemate in Thailand extends further
Friday's planned prime ministerial vote in Thailand is postponed by the speaker of the parliament, the Bangkok Post reports.
The reason the vote is being postponed once more is that the leader of the liberal party Kao Klai, Pita Limjaroenrat, appealed that he was disqualified from standing in it. He lost a first vote and now the country's constitutional court must rule on the matter before parliament can vote again.
The country has now been without a prime minister since the election in May.
