Trump wants to stop aid to Ukraine: "Don't be STUPID!"
Donald Trump is urging his Republican party colleagues to reject the proposal for a new aid package for Ukraine that was presented in the Senate during the night of Monday, AFP reports.
“Don't be STUPID!!! We need a separate package for border control and immigration. It should in no way be tied to foreign support," Trump writes on his social network Truth.
It has been disputed for months about the support for Ukraine in the US Congress, which Republicans sat opposite. During the night, a proposal was presented that partly contains money for border controls and partly 60 billion dollars in support for Ukraine.

Proposals for Ukraine support have been presented in the Senate
A bill that includes, among other things, an aid package for Ukraine was presented in the US Senate on Sunday. However, it is unclear whether the proposal will become a reality, several media write.
Later this week, the Senate will vote on the package. Should the proposal go through, the House of Representatives, where the Republicans have a majority, awaits there.
Republican Speaker Mike Johnson has said that support for Ukraine will be "stillborn" if it reaches the House of Representatives.
In addition to 60 billion dollars for Ukraine, the proposal also includes a billion investment in the border guard against Mexico.
