Tucker Carlson confirms: Will interview Putin
The conservative American media profile Tucker Carlson confirms in a clip on X that he is in Moscow to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin.
- We are two years into a war that reshaped the world and still there are many Americans who do not know what is happening, says the former Fox News anchor.
For several days, Putin-loyal journalists and war bloggers have been cheering the rumors that Carlson will interview the Russian president.
The New York Times writes that the Kremlin has previously dismissed interview requests from Western journalists, citing that their countries have been "stunned by anti-Russian propaganda".
However, Carlson has spoken in positive terms about Putin and, according to the newspaper, is at the forefront of a pro-Russian movement within conservative American politics.
Carlson announces that the interview will take place "soon".

Expert: Swedish weapons information may have been leaked to Russia
Information about Swedish arms deliveries to Ukraine may have ended up in Russian hands. That's what Jörgen Holmlund, a teacher in intelligence analysis at the Norwegian Defense Academy, tells Ekot after the revelation about the spy network.
The information available indicates that information about the importation of weapons from other countries has been leaked, he says.
- It is also quite potent weapons systems that Ukraine receives.
The leaks risk leading to foreign weapons not reaching the front, which affects Ukraine's defense capabilities, adds Holmlund.
On Tuesday, the Kyiv Independent reported that five former and current employees of Ukraine's security service SBU were arrested, suspected of having provided classified information to Russia's FSB security service for payment.

The school shooting in Michigan
Mother convicted of manslaughter after son's school shooting
The mother of school shooter Ethan Crumbley, who in 2021 shot dead four people at Oxford High School outside Detroit, is convicted of murder. NBC News reports.
The court believes that the mother, Jennifer Crumbley, should be sentenced to manslaughter because she, through gross negligence, did not stop her son from committing the crime.
Ethan Crumbley bought the gun he used in the crime with his father James and afterwards Jennifer took her son to a shooting range to practice with the weapon. Four days later he committed the crime.
The parents are the first in US history to be prosecuted for a mass shooting committed by their children.
