Hezbollah in attack on Israel - warns "more to come"
The Iran-backed militia group Hezbollah has carried out a series of drone and rocket attacks against northern Israel, Reuters reports. The attacks were directed at two military areas near Acre in northern Israel and at an Israeli military vehicle at another location.
At the same time, the group warns that the response after the attacks in which a Hamas leader and a Hezbollah leader were killed is still awaited.
- The answer to the assassination of Fuad Shukr [Hezbollah's top military commander ed. note] has not yet come, says a Hezbollah source to Reuters.
Israel's military says a number of drones crossed the border from Lebanon and that several civilians were injured south of the coastal town of Nahariya. In addition, Israel's air force has attacked two Hezbollah facilities in southern Lebanon.

Bloody raids on the West Bank in anticipation of Iran's response
Six Palestinians have been killed and several injured in two separate attacks in the West Bank today, AFP reports.
Israel has carried out repeated attacks in the area since the war in Gaza broke out last October. At the same time, militant Palestinians have carried out several attacks against Israel.
The world is currently holding its breath before a supposed Iranian response to the attacks in which a Hamas leader and a Hezbollah leader were killed. Last night, Iran's newly elected president Masoud Pezeshkian announced that Israel "will receive an answer for its crimes".
