Snekkestad's mother speaks out about Marius

In connection with the arrest of Marius Borg Høiby after abusing his girlfriend, ex-girlfriend Juliane Snekkestad, 29, revealed that she too was physically and mentally abused.
Now Juliane's mother, Nina Snekkestad, is attacking Crown princess Mette-Marits son in the Daily Mail.

Marius was arrested on August 4 and some time later admitted in a statement that he assaulted his current girlfriend and vandalized her apartment.
Juliane Snekkestad, who was with Marius between 2018 and 2022, revealed on Instagram that he also beat her during the four-year relationship.
- The psychological violence was the most brutal for me, writes Juliane.
After the revelation on Instagram, Juliane Snekkestad traveled to her mother Nina in Tønsberg.
"Must be held accountable"
Nina Snekkestad has given an interview to the British Daily Mail where she dismisses Marius' public apology.- It is not fair. Even if you have a baggage from your childhood, even if you have diagnoses, many people have similar problems. It does not give you the right to treat other people badly.
- Saying "I have a diagnosis" is not enough - you must be held accountable for your actions, and everything else is just empty excuses.
Nina Snekkestad says that her daughter is crying and because she is reminded of the relationship with Marius.
- We are all in a very, very emotional process right now and Juliane is crying a lot because it has been really tough after all the drama that happened with her ex. She can't talk right now, it's just so upsetting for her.
Pointed out as a security risk
Juliane and Marius met in London in 2018 when Juliane was working as a model. They moved home to Norway and bought a house together in Tønsberg. In connection with the separation, Marius moved home to his parents in Skaugum, where he still lives.The woman who recently had a relationship with Marius had visible injuries to her head and suffered a concussion during the assault. Marius had also strangled her and threatened her on the phone after he left her apartment.
Her apartment was destroyed and the police found, among other things, a knife stuck in the wall and a broken down crystal chandelier.
"I used violence"
Marius had to spend a day in custody before being released.- Last weekend something happened that should never have happened. I used violence and destroyed objects in an apartment under the influence of alcohol and cocaine after an argument, Marius said in a statement to NRK.
Marius Borg Høiby has also been singled out as a security risk in the royal family due to his association with criminals.

Juliane och Marius möttes i London 2018 då Juliane arbetade som modell. De flyttade hem till Norge köpte de ett hus tillsammans i Tønsberg. I samband med separationen flyttade Marius hem till föräldrarna på Skaugum där han fortfarande bor.
Kvinnan som nyligen hade en relation med Marius hade synliga skador i huvudet och fick hjärnskakning vid misshandeln. Marius hade även tagit strypgrepp på henne och hotat henne i telefonen efter att han lämnat hennes lägenhet.
Hennes lägenhet var förstörd och polisen hittade bland annat en kniv instucken i väggen och en nedriven kristallkrona.
