The 19-year-old's words when he resigned: "Has big plans"
One of the men arrested for planning a terrorist attack against Taylor Swift's concerts in Vienna resigned from his job just two weeks ago, Austrian APA reports.
In connection with the dismissal, the 19-year-old is said to have informed colleagues that he has "big plans" and then began to change his appearance to imitate an IS terrorist.
During Wednesday's crackdown, materials for bomb-making, machetes, counterfeit euro notes and a lamp reminiscent of the one the police have on their cars were found, among other things.
A 17-year-old is also suspected of the planned terrorist act.

Suspect 17-year-old took a job at the arena before the concerts
The 17-year-old boy who was arrested on suspicion of planning a terrorist act against Taylor Swift's concerts in Vienna began working at the arena in the days before the concerts were to take place, the police said according to the AP. He was arrested near the arena by police special forces.
The 17-year-old is suspected of having, together with the main suspect, a 19-year-old man, far-reaching plans for a suicide attempt during the concerts. The idea was to use knives and homemade bombs in the attack, and according to Austria's intelligence service, the plan was to kill as many as they could outside the arena.
When the police raided the 19-year-old's residence, substances were found to make a bomb. In addition, IS and al-Qaeda material was found in the 17-year-old's home, AP writes.
The 19-year-old has confessed to the attack plans and the police are no longer looking for any further suspects.

Experts: No need to worry – the police are on top
There is no need to be worried after the discovery of the terror plans against Taylor Swift's concerts in Vienna, says terrorism researcher Magnus Ranstorp to SVT Nyheter.
- The police and security services have a good grasp of the radical environments and are good at finding individuals, as now in Austria, he says.
Terrorist researcher Hans Brun - who recently warned against acts with Islamist motives - was not surprised by the circumstances surrounding the case, he tells TT. According to him, the planned act most likely follows previous patterns.
- What we are seeing is a long-term conflict where the jihadist ideology is on a collision course with the Western world.
