Lebanon: 400,000 have fled to Syria in two weeks

Over 400,000 people have fled from Lebanon to Syria in less than two weeks, the Lebanese government says according to AFP.

Over 300⁠ 000 of these are said to be Syrians returning to their war-torn homeland, and over 102⁠ 000 are Lebanese.

On Monday, the anniversary of the Hamas terror attack, Israel continued its attacks in Lebanon - over 120 Hezbollah targets in one hour, according to the IDF.

Massive Israeli strikes - 120 in one hour

Israel has carried out a series of airstrikes in southern Lebanon on Monday, the anniversary of the Hamas terror attack, The Guardian reports.

According to the IDF, 100 warplanes attacked 120 Hezbollah targets within an hour. The military has warned residents of the coast of southern Lebanon, from the Awali River southwards, not to be in boats or on the coast until further notice.

In addition, the IDF has established a closed military zone in the northern part of the country, from the Mediterranean coast and eastwards.
