Trump's USA Ministers' war chat

Sources: Vance urged Trump to fire Waltz

At a private meeting on Wednesday evening, Trump's top brass held a meeting with the president where they suggested that national security adviser Mike Waltz should be fired. This is reported by sources for Politico.

Criticism has been pouring in for Waltz inviting journalist Jeffrey Goldberg into the now infamous Signal Chat. It has become a stain on the White House, Vice President JD Vance, Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Chief of Staff Sergio Gor told Donald Trump.

Trump agreed that Waltz had done something wrong, but he does not want to "give the press a scalp", says a source with insight into Politico.

- As if he would give the liberal media and the oversensitive Democrats a win, says another source.

But Waltz has not completely escaped. Other sources believe that he will quit as soon as the time is right, that he “will be gone within a few weeks”.

Sources: Israeli politicians furious after the chat leak

Israel is furious with the US after the chat leaks, sources tell CBSNews. What was leaked in the chats was sensitive information that came from an Israeli intelligence source in Yemen and that Israel had informed the US about, according to the information.

The source is now said to have been cleared.

If the information is confirmed, it partly contradicts several statements from those involved. US intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard has said that “no classified material was shared”, which national security adviser Mike Waltz has also claimed.

“No locations. No sources & methods. No WAR PLANS. Foreign colleagues had already been informed that the attacks were imminent”, he wrote on X this week.
