Four dead after continued Russian attacks on Ukraine
Four people have been killed in Russian attacks on Ukraine overnight.
At the same time, there are reports of a temporary ceasefire over the weekend, when US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to visit the country.
Russia has carried out several attacks on Ukraine overnight into Saturday.
Four people have been killed in an attack outside Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk region governor Oleksandr Hanzja said on Telegram. Five more people were injured, one of whom is life-threatening.
The Kiev region has also been attacked overnight. In Boryspil, about 35 kilometers from Kiev, a nine-story building was hit.
Two women were injured by the blast and taken to hospital, according to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kiev region's military command.
An industrial facility in Kamianske in central Ukraine has also been hit, according to regional authorities.
Uncommented ceasefire
The attacks come as Ukrainian media reports of a temporary ceasefire over the weekend, when Witkoff and Kushner are expected to visit Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has urged Russia to refrain from attacks during their trip.
Russia has not yet commented on the reports of a temporary ceasefire.
