US: Has destroyed three Iranian oil tankers

The US has destroyed three Iranian oil tankers after the Revolutionary Guard fired ballistic missiles at two patrolling US warships, writes the Central Command Centcom on X.

According to Centcom, a US aircraft carrier and a destroyer managed to evade several unprovoked Iranian attacks without any injuries.

"Let the message to the Revolutionary Guard be clear: If you fire on two of our ships, we will inflict even greater economic damage on you by destroying three of yours," Admiral Brad Cooper said in a statement.

Iran: Has attacked six ships in retaliation

Iran's Revolutionary Guard has attacked several ships in retaliation for this morning's US attacks, they said, according to AFP.

According to a statement, it concerns “three oil tankers in the unauthorized waterway in the Strait of Hormuz and three ships linked to the child-murdering US in other areas”.

The US has not commented on the information. Earlier on Saturday, the US military fired on three Iranian oil tankers, which in turn was in retaliation for an Iranian attack on two of its warships.

The war has escalated again after the US fired on two Iranian launch pads on Monday, which was preceded by a month without attacks.
