Vance: Don't believe the US attacked a wedding
At least four people were killed and about 60 injured when a projectile hit a house where a wedding party was being held on Tuesday. The US has been blamed for the attack, but denies the allegations.
During the US attacks on Iran on Tuesday, a drone or missile hit a private residential building in the coastal town of Kuhestak on the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran has called the attack a genocide, but the information has not been confirmed elsewhere and the US says it only attacked military targets.
The BBC has fact-checked images from the scene and experts claim for the media company that remains indicate that it was an American projectile.
US Vice President JD Vance said on Thursday that an investigation has been launched, but that he doubts the Iranian information.
– Iranian state media does not have a great track record. So I am extremely skeptical.
