The Federal Election Commission posted a document on its website stating that former Vice President Mike Pence is running for president in 2024. That would mean he is challenging his former superior, Donald Trump. But shortly after, Pence's spokesman Devin O'Malley denied everything. "For this reason, Vice President Mike Pence did not file documents today to run for president," writes O'Malley on Twitter. To a question about whether someone blew Pence by submitting the documents, he answers: "I think someone blew you."
There has been speculation
It has previously been speculated whether Pence would run for president.
During a press tour for a book release in November, Pence is said to have, among other things, received questions from journalists who hinted that he was considering dethela, although nothing definite has since been communicated.
