Explosions at a Russian airbase – three people are reported dead
Russia says it shot down a Ukrainian drone at a Russian airbase in Saratov, and that people have died when they were hit by falling debris. This is reported by AFP.
The airbase is several hundred kilometers from the Ukrainian border. According to Ukrainian RBC-Ukraine, two explosions and the aircraft alarm were heard during the night, and the Russian news site Baza cites witnesses who state that the aircraft alarm was wailed.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, three people have been killed in what they claim is a drone attack.

Russia may increase crude oil exports after sanctions
Russia may increase exports of crude oil if EU sanctions lead to reduced sales of other oil products. This is what the country's Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak says to the Russian news agency Tass, reports Bloomberg.
- If there are problems with the sale of petroleum products, other oil exports can to some extent replace refining, says Novak.
The EU's import ban on Russian oil products comes into effect on February 5, in addition to the restrictions imposed on crude oil in early December.
Russia expects to produce at least 490-500 million tons of oil next year, according to Novak. Bryansk in April.

Russia: Has killed Ukrainian saboteurs at the border
The Russian intelligence service FSB claims to have killed "Ukrainian saboteurs" at the Russian border. This is reported by state media according to AFP.
The FSB claims that four people tried to enter the Bryansk region, and that they were carrying German weapons and explosives. The country has recently introduced stricter penalties for saboteurs in particular.
Ukraine has not claimed responsibility for any attacks on Russian soil, instead citing "karma" for the invasion. Ambassadors of Ukraine and the United States in the Security Council.

Ukraine: Ban Russia from the UN Security Council
On Monday, Ukraine will present a demand to expel Russia from the UN Security Council - ten months after the Russian invasion began. This is reported by AFP.
The demand comes shortly after President Vladimir Putin accused the West of trying to "tear apart" Russia, and was presented by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
Russia is one of five countries that has a permanent seat on the Security Council, and therefore has veto power. In total, the council consists of 15 count
