The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirms the death.

Iran: Not involved in murder of Israeli rabbi
Iran "categorically" rejects any suggestion that it was involved in the death of Israeli-Moldavian rabbi Zvi Kogan in the United Arab Emirates. This is what the Iranian embassy in the country says in a statement, Reuters reports.
Several Israeli media have reported over the weekend that security sources within the United Arab Emirates identified Uzbeks, who acted on behalf of Iran, as the likely perpetrators.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says it will do everything in its power to punish the guilty "and those who sent them", reports Al Jazeera.
The United Arab Emirates announced earlier on Sunday that it had arrested three people suspected of the crime. Israel should not have been allowed to share their identities.
