In Saint Tropez, he himself showed off his physical skills.

From Polaris he got to an elegant dive.

King Carl XVI Gustaf, 78, and Queen Silvia, 80, are on vacation in the south of France, at Villa Mirage in exclusive Saint-Maxime.

Villa Mirage is the king's legacy after Prince Bertil and is right next to the crystal blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

Dipped feet

The temperature has been around 30 degrees there on Wednesday. Of course, a royal bath is then required. But while the king dived into the waves from the stern, Silvia contented herself with splashing a little with her feet from the twelve-meter boat Polaris.

End of vacation

The court's information manager Margareta Thorgren says about the royal couple's trip:

- The court does not comment on their private vacations.

According to the couple's official calendar, the summer vacation is already over next week.

On August 19, the queen will attend the World regional congress on child abuse and neglect in Uppsala. For the king, autumn starts on August 26 with a reception for the Foreign Ministry at the Palace.
