Political situation in Germany
The Social Democrats remain the largest in Brandenburg

The new space race
Space X: Sending five craft to Mars in two years
The space company Space X plans to send five unmanned Starship vehicles to Mars in two years, writes owner Elon Musk on X.
If everyone lands safely, manned trips to the red planet may become relevant in four years. Otherwise, manned space travel will be postponed, writes Musk.
Regardless of the outcome, Space X plans to increase the number of trips to Mars, when the planets align every two years. In the end, "thousands" of craft will be able to bring "anyone who wants" to the planet.
"That means you or your family or friends - anyone who dreams of great adventures," writes Elon Musk.

Explosively loaded ship
Professor: It won't explode if no one wants it to
It takes "a great deal" for the cargo on the damaged vessel MV Ruby to actually explode. That's what Ulf Ellervik, professor of organic chemistry at Lund University, tells Expressen.
The cargo consists of 20,000 tons of ammonium nitrate, but it must be mixed with other substances to become explosive.
- I would say that the next requirement is that someone wants it to explode.
The professor says that previous accidents with ammonium nitrate – for example the explosions in Beirut in 2020 – were usually due to incorrect storage.
The ship is still in international waters off Norway. Swedish authorities are planning for a scenario where it seeks refuge in Sweden.
