Uruguay's ambassador to Sweden, Federico Perazza, is called home, reports the Uruguayan newspaper El Observador.
The reason must be a series of irregularities in his management. Among other things, he allegedly used state funds for his own use. In addition, "violent episodes" should have occurred at the embassy, according to the newspaper.
It was decided that he can no longer exercise his duty and is therefore called home. He will return to the country immediately.
He is also suspended from all activities for six months, he will not be paid any salary and he will not be able to carry out assignments abroad for six years.
