Borg Høiby has previously been suspected, among other things, of having abused a former girlfriend. On Monday, he was arrested again, this time on suspicion of rape against a person who is "unconscious or for other reasons unable to resist the act".

Crown Prince Haakon is currently in Jamaica and tells NRK that he misses Mette-Marit.

Marius Borg Høiby is being investigated for another rape

Norwegian police request that Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit, be detained for two weeks. The background is that he is now being investigated for another rape, Norwegian media reports.

According to the police's lawyer Andreas Kruszewski, the new accusation has appeared in the investigative material. It concerns sexual assault without intercourse against a woman who was unable to give consent.

The detention hearing is taking place behind closed doors on Wednesday afternoon. Borg Høiby denies any crime.
