Frederiksen hits back at JD Vance's criticism: "One of America's best allies"

Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen hits back after US Vice President JD Vance called the European country a bad ally, Danish media reports.

- We have fought side by side with the Americans for many, many decades. We are one of America's most important and best allies, she says, emphasizing that she did not appreciate JD Vance's comments.

Frederiksen is currently at an informal EU summit in Brussels, where several European leaders are participating.
