Lena Andersson: It is not possible to pressure Russia

Russia has no interest in expanding its territory into Sweden. This is what author and debater Lena Andersson says in SVT's 30 minutes.

She also believes that Western countries should be more open to making compromises with Russia to end the war.

- It is not possible to pressure Russia. You have to accept how they are.

When asked if Ukraine must accept being controlled by Russia, Andersson replies that both Sweden and Ukraine "maybe have to accept their geographical fate".

French photojournalist killed by drone in Ukraine

French photojournalist Antoni Lallican has died after being hit by a Russian drone in Ukraine. This is stated by French President Emmanuel Macron, reports AFP.

Lallican is said to have been on assignment in the Donbas region on Friday morning when he was killed, according to the International and European Federation of Journalists. Ukrainian journalist Heorhiy Ivanchenko was injured in the same attack. Both were wearing press jackets.

“By targeting journalists, the Russian army is deliberately hunting down those who are trying to document war crimes,” Sergiy Tomilenko, president of the Ukrainian Union of Journalists, told France24.
