Iran: US has irrational demands

Iran accuses the US of having “maximalist and irrational” demands and denies that negotiations are taking place to end the war, according to Iranian media.

“Messages have been received through intermediaries, including Pakistan, but no direct negotiations with the US are taking place,” said Esmaeil Baqaei, spokesman for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, according to the pro-regime news agency Isna.

He also claims that Iran is, among other things, ready for a ground invasion.

Israel stated early on Thursday that the country’s air defenses are working to shoot down missiles fired from Iran.
