Denmark promises Ukraine support for ten years: "It will be expensive"
Denmark presents a new support package to Ukraine and in the same vein provides security guarantees to the country for the next ten years.
- What we are facing will be expensive. But freedom comes with a price, says Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, according to Politiken.
She adds that words alone do not bring peace.
- It's action on the battlefield that counts.
The ten-year security guarantee is an initiative that first comes from the G7 countries. A total of 32 countries now stand behind the guarantee.
Today's support package has a value of 1.7 billion Danish kroner, just over 2.5 billion Swedish kroner. The package includes, among other things, 15,000 artillery shells,
