At least 13 dead in the English Channel: "The bottom was torn apart"
At least 13 people have died and after a boat with migrants capsized in the English Channel, French authorities say. Reuters reports.

A major rescue operation is underway off the French coast. Around 50 people are said to have been taken out of the water. Several are treated for critical injuries.
