A new strong earthquake has occurred in the region of Hatay in southern Turkey, near the border with Syria.
At least three people have died and over 200 are injured, according to the Turkish interior minister.
Already damaged buildings have collapsed.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of ten kilometers shortly after 18:00 (Swedish time) on Monday evening, in one of the areas most affected by the large earthquake on February 6.
It had a magnitude of 6.4.
The earthquake has hit the cities of Defne and Antakya in Turkey and is said to have been felt in Syria, Jordan, Israel and Egypt.
According to the news agency Reuters, already damaged buildings have collapsed.
At least three people have died and 213 have been injured, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu announced according to AP.
Feared trapped in the racial masses

There are supposed to be interruptions in the internet and electricity supply in Idlib and Aleppo in northern Syria, local media reports.
The Norwegian newspaper VG has spoken to a witness who is in Gaziantep. The city is located approximately 175 kilometers from the earthquake's epicenter, Antakya.
- It is difficult to describe in words how terrifying it is. I feel like crying. You think it's your building that will collapse next, says the witness.
"Be terrified"
She herself ran out into the street where many people had gathered.
- I am terrified, everyone is, says the witness to VG.
Reuters reporters on the ground write that they saw residents being checked.
VG has spoken to a rescue worker on site in Antakya.
- Houses are destroyed and people are afraid. People who are already lying down have been kicked, says rescue worker Mustafa to the newspaper.
For the past two weeks, minor tremors have rocked the region, but Monday's quake was the largest since February 6.
Then around 47,000 people died after the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. That earthquake had a magnitude of 7.8.
More than a million people have been left homeless after the February 6 earthquake, according to figures.

The earthquakes in Turkey and Syria
A large earthquake hit southeastern Turkey and northern Syria on the morning of Monday, February 6.
The quake was measured at 7.8 on the Richter scale. Later in the day there was another earthquake measuring 7.5.
It is the strongest earthquake in the area since 1939.
In total, it is estimated that close to 50,000 people died in the disaster, over 40,000 in Turkey and over 6,000 in Syria. The material damage is extremely extensive.
In the worst affected area are large cities such as Gaziantep, Kahramanmaras, Aleppo and Idlib. Many refugees live in the area.
