PM Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha says the Internal Security Operations Command is still relevant despite the end of communist threat because ISOC deals with other issues threatening national security such as transnational drugs trafficking, cyber crimes and other external threats. His reaction was made at ISOC HQ in Bangkok on Friday. Prayut is ex officio director of the organisation which is very active in the deep south. ISOC celebrates its foundation day today.
Those calling ISOC to be scrapped include Move Forward Party MP Amarat Chokepamitkul who said the organisation is causing rift in society. #Thailand #WhatsHappeningInThailand #KE
