They Are Back!
The first Chinese group tourists landed in Thailand Monday morning after three years' absence and were welcomed by executives from the Tourism Authority of Thailand at Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Thirteen flights carrying group tourists are expected to land at various airports today. Thailand is among 20 countries the Chinese government permits group tourism.

Chief of Immigration Police Pol Lt Gen Phakphumphiphat Sujjapan said at a presser on Monday about 110 of his men were involved in illegally procuring visas for Chinese. He said these officers will face both criminal and disciplinary charges and it will be lodged against them by the end of the week.
