Russia confirms: Ukraine fired six robots
Russia confirms that Ukraine fired six US-made ATACMS robots at targets in the Russian region of Bryansk, AP reports. According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they shot down five of them and injured one.
Earlier, a Ukrainian defense source stated that the country attacked targets inside Russia with an American long-range robot for the first time.
This after US President Joe Biden earlier this week reportedly gave the go-ahead for Ukraine to use US long-range robots against targets deep inside Russia.

It is not unusual for underwater cables to break or be damaged, and the most common causes are wear and tear or accidents. This is what Hans Liwång, docent in defense systems at the Norwegian Defense University and marine engineering researcher at the Royal Institute of Technology, told DN.
The fact that Swedish police started a preliminary investigation into sabotage after two underwater cables were damaged in the Baltic Sea should be seen in the light of the current global situation, Liwång believes.
